Windows Vista requires a minimum 11.3 GBs of disk space to install and store temporary files. The operating system uses a total of 8GBs disk space. i have installed Vista on 5.5. Gave it 20GB HDD and 768mb of RAM. Works brilliantly. Have heard that it has been very slow on previous releases but i find this beta very usable on vmware
